Liebster award

The lovely and very talented Charlotte has nominated me for a Liebster award which I'm really happy about (have a look at her blog it's amazing http://soyoubeauty.com/) . It's a great way to discover new blogs you may not have seen before especially for us newbies! I have been asked to answer 11 questions, then nominate 11 bloggers who have less than 200 followers to answer 11 questions I put to them. Then hopefully they in turn will nominate 11 more bloggers, asking them 11 different questions and share all the info on their blogs, and so it continues!
Here's my answers to Charlottes Q's...
  1. What inspired you to start a blog? I love painting my nails and wanted to share with others who love doing their nails too
  2. How often do you do your nails? I file and paint once or twice a week
  3. Do you have a nail care regime? Oil oil oil as much as poss and hand cream all the time
  4. What is your favourite polish of all time? Leighton Denny Just Perfect...it goes with everything
  5. Do you have a favourite nail polish brand? Leighton Denny, Nails inc, OPI but am still discovering!
  6. Do you like nail art or do you prefer just a solid nail colour? I so admire nail art but not very good at it so tend to stick to solid colours
  7. Are you into other beauty products or just nails? I'm a beauty addict, nails, skincare, bodycare, haircare love it all
  8. How many polishes do you own? About 100 at present
  9. Where have most your polishes come from? TK Maxx, QVC, web stores when I have discount codes and from stores in America when I've been over there
  10. Do you have a favourite nail art design? Love the leopard print look
  11. What nail polish is the top of your wish list? Too many to mention!

  1. Thank you again, for the wonderful nomination! You have a really wonderful space here! I'm glad you found me, so now I can follow you too :D

And here are my answers to your questions:
    1. about 120
    2. squivols - i felt that they are much stronger that way.
    3. definitely blues (which includes about anything that has a hint of blue in them LOL!
    4. Oh, I can't answer this as I'm not sure what you mean, is it a brand stuffs or you meant like if i were to be stranded in a desert..... =P
    5. Practice makes for betterment.
    6. I have a few, glitters (does it count??), layerings, gradients also, the contrasts between matte and gloss - I haven't try that yet.
    7. Essence - affordable and has a variety. Etude House is fine with me too but they are pretty smeary. Revlon - great formula and great colours. Tip Top Nails South Africa - super smooth application and great colours and free of 4 harmful chemicals.
    8. Sally Hansen Extra Strength
    9. Seche Vite
    10. In storage boxes
    11. Both! :D But i lean more on the latter - sides into the middle.

  4. Thanks Charlotte...must say your page amazes me every time I visit it! I use OPI Avoplex oil as can't use sweet almond oil which is in most other brands. I get it from Lena white where you can buy unboxed 15ml bottles with a brush for £9.50 (normally around £16 boxed) it's fantastic x
