Leighton Denny Be My Berry and Razzmatazz

Leighton Denny Be my berry is a fabulous red. It has a foil like appearance which catches the light and shines from every angle. I've teamed it with a ring finger mani of Razzmatazz which is a serious party glitter. Red and purple are the colours in it which almost wink back to give a really glamourous look to the nail, perfect for any party!

OPI DS Reflection

OPI's Reflection is from their Designer series. It is a red with a pink tinge and the most fantastic tiny holo particles which dance on the nails. You get flashes of red, pink, gold, silver and many other colours which give it an incredible eye catching quality and it applies like a dream. Gorgeous for when you're looking for that wow nail!

Liebster award

The lovely and very talented Charlotte has nominated me for a Liebster award which I'm really happy about (have a look at her blog it's amazing http://soyoubeauty.com/) . It's a great way to discover new blogs you may not have seen before especially for us newbies! 1. What inspired you to start a blog? I love painting my nails and wanted to share with others who love doing their nails too
2. How often do you do your nails? I file and paint once or twice a week
3. Do you have a nail care regime? Oil oil oil as much as poss and hand cream all the time
4. What is your favourite polish of all time? Leighton Denny Just Perfect...it goes with everything
5. Do you have a favourite nail polish brand? Leighton Denny, Nails inc, OPI but am still discovering! 
6. Do you like nail art or do you prefer just a solid nail colour? I so admire nail art but not very good at it so tend to stick to solid colours
7. Are you into other beauty products or just nails? I'm a beauty addict, nails, skincare, bodycare, haircare love it all
8. How many polishes do you own? About 100 at present
9. Where have most your polishes come from? TK Maxx, QVC, web stores when I have discount codes and from stores in America when I've been over there
10. Do you have a favourite nail art design? Love the leopard print look
11. What nail polish is the top of your wish list? Too many to mention!

Nails inc Soho Magnetic

Nails inc Soho Magnetic is a polish with attitude. The base colour is silver grey, however this is no ordinary polish as when the magnet which is in the lid is placed over it it creates an amazing fishnet pattern on the nail.Silver, grey, charcoal and black tones contributing to the 3D design you see which is best acheived if you apply a thin coat followed by a thick coat and immediately using the magnet whilst the polish is still wet...show stopping.

Leighton Denny Forbidden territory

Leighton Denny Forbidden territory is a great colour for Autumn/Winter. It has a deep richness to it which resembles a conker in colour mixing burnt red and brown with a fab lustre to give a deeply intriguing shade.

Nails inc Topping Lane Sprinkles

Nails inc Topping lane is a fab special effect polish. It has semi matte multi dimensional sequins set within a cream polish which with 2 coats gives full coverage to the nail. Blue, fushia and silver sequins set within a pink base gives a fantastic eye catching design.

Leighton Denny I love Juicy

Heres Leighton Denny's I love Juicy with a ring finger marble mani. It's a fantastic cheerful red with orange tones which brings vibrancy to any outfit. I painted my ring finger with 2 coats of LD Pure white then taped around the nail, filled a cup with water, dropped Ilove Juicy, Pure white and Zero gravity in then swirled it and placed my nail in...I think the effect is great!

OPI Pink Nail Envy

OPI Pink Nail Envy is a fab multi use product. Not only does it act as a treatment for the nails to strengthen them and aid growth but it has colour in it so you can treat and polish at the same time. The pink toned colour is a great neutral which goes with everything and makes the nails look incredibly well groomed.

Nails inc Motcomb street

Nails inc Motcomb Street is a fantastically mysterious dark. It verges on the edge of black but infact is the darkest teal shade imaginable. With super glossy full coverage to the nail it's a great dark option for those who dare!

Nails inc St James

If you are after the perfect classic red then Nails inc St James is it. It's a true lipstick red which looks great on any skin tone to give glamour and high class all in one.

Leighton denny Rebel

Leighton Denny Rebel is a purple with a difference. It has a shimmer running through it aswell as pink and purple tones which all contribute towards giving it a real depth of colour. A real regal purple.

Nails inc Prince albert road

Nails inc Prince albert road is a blue polish with a shimmer. The blue is not as dark as a navy yet not as bright as a royal, which combined with the silver shimmer particles gives an eye catching affect to the nail.

Nails inc Tate

Nails inc Tate is a true classic red which gives perfect coverage to the nail giving a touch of class. It somehow manages to give a super glossy wet look as if it were a very expensive supercar, gorgeous.

Leighton Denny Starlet

Leighton Denny Starlet is a fantastic multi dimensional varnish from his new A/W12 Dramatic collection. It has a dark base with a gold/green shimmer to give an antique gold feel. Sophistication and glamour at it's best.

Leighton Denny Blue lagoon & I am diva

Leighton Denny's Blue lagoon is a cream blue colour which is a mix of a turquoise and teal. I have applied two coats with a coat of I am diva on the ring finger which is a gorgeous silver glitter to give an eye catching shimmer which reminds me of the sun glimmering on the sea!.

Nails Inc Bluebell with Hoxton crackle

Bluebell is a lovely vibrant lilac/blue solid cream colour which I have applied two coats as a base with Hoxton crackle, a gorgeous deep purple over the top. I found it best to apply the crackle in random directions to get this fantastic nail art effect with little effort or skill needed...fab.

Leighton Denny Just perfect

Leighton Denny's Just perfect couldn't be better named. It is a classic apricot cream which is ideal for those who want a neutral shade with a warm tone . It has a sophisticated feel which goes with any outfit, a timeless classic.

Nails inc Primrose Hill

This is Nails inc's Primrose Hill which has a fantastic ability to subtly change colour when on the nails. In daylight it has a lilac tone to it but as the light dims it turns to a dusky lilac/taupe tone, a real chameleon of a colour.

 

Leighton Denny Do me a flavour

Leighton Denny's polishes have high pigments, meaning they apply true to colour when applied to the nails. Do me a flavour is the perfect wearable Orange which looks fantastic both in Summer sunshine or Winter snow for that gorgeous flash of colour.
